Dis-“comfort”

Today’s post is about the last time I left my comfort zone.

A lot of times we think about this as stepping out of our routines and trying something new. There are books written about doing this, and TV and movies about all the wonderful things that can come from it–and often that’s true.

In a pandemic, however, sometimes leaving my “comfort ” zone has meant going into the grocery store–even with a mask–when a very contagious variant is circulating. So that’s the last time I left my comfort zone–when I went into a building with people, some of whom were unmasked during this contagious Omicron variant.

I hope that the next time I do it, I will be learning something or having fun!
