I see a bit of her web, also, which is lovely. She will take care of any aphids. I like the tiny buds in the background, too.
Oh yes, spiders are some of the ” good guys” in the garden, that’s for sure!
I think you are admiring my osmanthus, which is behind the plant with the spider.
It’s an amazing plant. It blooms almost all winter for me, and is fragrant too. I just love plants like that!

Oh, that is an osmanthus. It looks like a Ficus microcarpa ‘Nitida’.
How interesting that you say that. I do have 2 of those, but they are to the left and on the ground, out of sight in this photo. I hadn’t realized the resemblance at all until you pointed it out.
