Most of these are specially grafted–I can see the graft–so that they will grow compactly enough indoors. But they don’t like it. Mine lose most of their leaves in the winter despite a south facing bay window. And scale is a constant problem. But I do get fruit–& the wonderful scent of the blossoms.
I used to grow citrus. It seems odd that an orange tree would grow as a houseplant.
