I think perhaps people think I exaggerate when I talk about my rock ledge or my heavy clay soil.
I have also talked about how I won’t work in my heavy clay in this drought because it’s too detrimental to the soil.
But, as they say, a picture is worth 1,000 words.
And while this isn’t, thankfully, my backyard, it is a construction site that isn’t too far away. And no, this isn’t fill. This is the ground that they are digging up for the foundation.
