In my younger days, I started a lot of seeds.
These days, as you might have gathered from Monday’s post, I start far fewer (but still too many! )
Instead, to get me through this cold and dreary time, I force bulbs. This year I went a little crazy. I got 7 new amaryllis. That’s going to be something when they all flower!
Luckily they are not showing any tendency to come into bloom all at once.
I also got a bag of paperwhites, 24 in all. I have begun starting them 4 at a time.
In the darkest time of year, I need a lot of color and fragrance around me!
