Last Wednesday I had a photo of a poinsettia. This Wednesday I thought I would show a plant that some of the marketers were calling the “anti” poinsettia last year. It is called the red stemmed or red leafed aglaeonema–a version of the Chinese Evergreen, if that long botanical doesn’t ring any bells with you.
Mine is incredibly easy care provided I don’t get it too close to the east window–it’s about 2 feet back. It likes to be evenly moist.
And unlike the traditional poinsettia, I don’t get tired of looking at this once the holidays are over!
